DDW 2026

Nordic Bioscience’s gastroenterology team will be attending Digestive Disease Week (DDW) 2026, held May 2–5, 2026, in Chicago, IL. As one of the largest global events in digestive health, DDW brings together clinicians, researchers, and industry to share advances across gastroenterology, hepatology, and endoscopy.

At this year’s meeting, we will be exhibiting at Booth #1832, where we will present our latest work in non-invasive biomarker solutions for gastrointestinal diseases. A central focus will be CPa9-HNE, a serum-based calprotectin biomarker designed to measure true neutrophil activity. By detecting a specific fragment generated during neutrophil activation, CPa9-HNE provides a more precise reflection of active inflammation compared to traditional calprotectin assays.

This approach supports improved disease monitoring, patient stratification, and evaluation of therapeutic response in conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease. More details on the technology are available here.
