UEG Week 2025

As our busy autumn conference period rolls on, Nordic Bioscience is looking forward to attending UEG Week 2025, taking place 4–7 October in Berlin, Germany.

UEG Week is one of the leading international meetings in gastroenterology, attracting experts from across the world to discuss the latest advances in digestive health. Nordic Bioscience will be exhibiting at the event (Booth 2.37 -Exhibition Hall 2.2), where we will present our work with CPa9-HNE, a serum-based calprotectin biomarker that measures true neutrophil activity by detecting a specific fragment generated during NETosis.

Unlike traditional calprotectin assays, CPa9-HNE provides a more precise readout of active inflammation, offering valuable insight into disease activity and treatment response in conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease. Backed by FDA support for further clinical application, this biomarker is being integrated into clinical trials to improve patient selection and reduce reliance on invasive procedures.
