We process personal data about you that we have obtained from you. The personal data is obtained directly from you when visiting our website, requesting information, for example through e-mail, participating in our events, interacting with us on social media etc.

We also process information about potential business partners that we collect via publicly available resources, like business registers, LinkedIn and similar.

Information we may process

Business relationships including sales of our products and scientific collaboration

  • Purpose

We process personal data about potential and existing business relationships to maintain our relationship, to interact with you and to collaborate on new or existing projects. We also process personal data about you for publication purposes to credit you with authorship of publications and to forward correspondence from readers to you. We may also use the information to nurture and maintain business relationships, including to promote events and other activities relevant to your business.

Name, contact information, resume, credentials, industry, position, geographic location.

  • Legal basis

GDPR art. 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in establishing and maintaining business relationships and conduct our business; and GDPR Art. 6(1)(c): legal requirements related to documentation of scientific studies, provision of services.

  • Storage

Your personal data is stored for as long as it is relevant for the business relationships and is deleted 5 years.

  • Collection

We will collect information directly from you when you contact us in relation to potential business, including scientific collaborations. We may also collect information from publicly available resources, including LinkedIn, business registers, and use independent providers of business contact information.

  • Recipients

We may disclose your personal data to other potential scientific or commercial collaborators, for example where further research/collaboration is relevant.

We may also disclose your personal data when contacting medical journals in order to publish our results/a research paper/a book.

Newsletters, webinars, and event 

  • Purpose

We register and use the information to provide the services you have signed up to and run the relevant events (e.g., to confirm your registration, prepare the event, perform marketing based on the event).

  • Categories of personal data that we process

Name, contact details, company and title, areas of interests, images from events.

  • Legal basis

Sign-up to newsletters and webinars are based on your consent, cf. GDPR Art. 6(1)(a). We may process information to set up, prepare and carry out the event including marketing of contextual images, based on our legitimate interests, cf. Art. 6(1)(f).

  • Storage

Your personal data is stored for as long as it is relevant for business relationships and is deleted thereafter. For subscription based on consent, we delete the information when you unsubscribe. We will review images from events at relevant intervals and delete them when not relevant for Nordic Bioscience’s marketing initiatives.

  • Recipients

We may use third-party service providers and data processors to organize and support events, including providers of technical means (e.g., webinar, newsletter, payment gateways etc.). We may use contextual images from events to market the event and brand Nordic Bioscience.

In some cases, you have the right to have personal data erased earlier than what would normally apply to that data.

In some cases, you have the right to obtain a restriction of processing of your personal data.

Right to data portability

In some cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit that data to another controller without hindrance from us.

In some cases, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests, cf. GDPR Art. 6(1).

Your right to withdraw your consent

Where relevant, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time by contacting us, cf. above. Withdrawal of your consent will not affect the legality of previous processing of your personal data based on the consent up until the time of withdrawal. If you withdraw your consent, such withdrawal will have effect from the time of withdrawal.
