Nordic Bioscience A/S will be present at Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology 2023!

Nordic Bioscience A/S will be present at Keystone Symposia on Molecular and Cellular Biology 2023! Our hepatic and pulmonary team will be presenting our latest findings and data based on our Protein Fingerprint biomarkers.

Most patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis die within 3-5 years after diagnosis. Our pulmonary team will share our latest results on how different type IV collagen biomarkers might be used in combination to assess disease severity, progression and evaluate treatment response to combat this dire outcome.

Some of the exciting topics we bring:

- Dr. Morten Karsdal will talk about the role of extracellular matrix remodeling in the pathogenesis of fibrotic liver diseases.

- In an IPF cohort, we saw that several of our biomarkers for type IV collagen could be used in combination to assess disease severity, progression and evaluate treatment response.

- A newly developed biomarker, CC16-HNE (neutrophil-generated club cell secretory protein 16 fragment), has shown to be lung specific, elevated in patients with IPF and may reflect epithelial damage.

- Also, we will present data on endotrophin and how this collagen hormone relates to patient-reported outcomes, disease severity and mortality in IPF.

- These exciting findings indicate that our Protein Fingerprint biomarkers could be used as surrogate biomarkers in pulmonary fibrosis and support your IPF drug development.
