Jeppe Ragnar Andersen is Head of Department of Clinical Development at Nordic Bioscience. The department is focused on all aspects of the clinical trials performed by Nordic Bioscience. The department has the capacity to perform trials from small phase I trials to large phase III trials. The Clinical Development department has in-house resources to perform all aspects of clinical trials, including protocol development, data management, trial management and monitoring.
From a science based perspective it is an advantage to include biomarkers in clinical studies as early as possible. The Clinical Development department bridges the basic and biomarker research from Nordic Bioscience to clinical application to develop novel treatments to the market early.
Jeppe Ragnar Andersen has a Master of Science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Copenhagen and a Certificate of Leadership from Harvard Business School. He has been working with clinical trials for Nordic Bioscience since 2007 and has been Head of the Department since 2009.
Jeppe Ragnar Andersen has been involved on an operational level in five large phase III studies with a total of more than 10.000 patients and a number of phase I and II studies within the therapeutic fields of Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Diabetes.
