Nordic Bioscience (Rheoscience) and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory completed the first phase III study to investigate the safety and efficacy of balaglitazone in type II diabetic patients on stable insulin therapy.
The study was a 6 months, double-blind, multicentre, multinational, randomized, active-comparator controlled study (DRF2593-307) to investigate the safety and efficacy of daily doses of 10 and 20 mg of balaglitazone combined with insulin in diabetic patients.
